Welcome to the Idaho Training Cooperative

UIBThe Idaho Training Cooperative (ITC) is a collaboration project between the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare (DHW) and the Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD). The ITC coordinates all aspects of the certification process for Developmental Specialists (DS) and Intensive Behavior Intervention (IBI) providers.

Mission Statement

To create a quality, coordinated, collaborative system of training and certification for IBI and DS professionals to best serve children with developmental disabilities and their families.

ITC Roles

  • CDHD staff develops curriculum, trains course instructors, facilitates the certification process, and provides technical assistance and support to agencies and schools in Idaho.
  • Idaho Department of Health Welfare provides funding, oversight, rules, and monitoring.
