SALN Board

SALN is governed by a board of directors representing self-advocates throughout Idaho. Board members serve two-year terms and are elected in the spring. In the spring of odd-numbered years, we elect our President, Treasurer and Sergeant-at-Arms. In even-numbered years, we elect our Vice-President and Secretary. If there is an SALN chapter that does not have one of its members serving as one of these officers, they may elect a representative to serve on the board.

The June 2015 Election results are in! New (and returning) Board members are:

  • Dave Dekker, President
  • Larkin Seiler, Treasurer
  • Toby Schultz, Sergeant-at-Arms

Thank you to all the candidates that ran for the open positions!

Advisory Members of SALN's Board of Directors

SALN has four advisory members who are appointed by SALN’s Board of Directors. They do not have a vote on the board and are selected because they have demonstrated strong support for self-advocacy and for SALN. They also represent organizations that are strong supporters of self-advocacy and SALN.
