June 13, 2016 By SALN Moscow Artwalk 2016 Artwalk 2016 is right around the corner in Moscow. Join us for refreshments, music, and amazing art by local artists with disabilities at the Disability Action Center NW on June 17, 2016 from 4 - 6 pm. Disability Action Center NW will be hosting an art reception during Moscow’s 12th annual Artwalk from 4-6pm on June 17th. The reception is titled Celebration of Abilities and will exhibit work of artists who have a disability. Free refreshments will be served. Featured is typewriter art from Paul Smith. Paul Smith 1921-2007, had severe cerebral palsy that put the traditional tools of an artist’s trade out of his grasp, but his creativity and artistic prowess were unleashed in a surprising fashion, through the strategic placement of the !@#$%^&*() symbol keys with a single finger on his vintage typewriter.
