Vandal Summer Academy

The 2019 Vandal Summer Academy runs from June 23-28, 2019 and is for students age 15-21 with disabilities interested in attending a two or four-year college after high school (NO COST - IDVR will cover the cost).

During the Univerity of Idaho's Vandal Academy, students spend one week on the University of Idaho campus to experience college life. This experience will focus on career readiness, job exploration, self-advocacy, independent living skills, and multiple opportunities for inclusion with student mentors.

Participants will:

  • Explore campus life for a 5 day, 5 night college experience that focuses on:
    • Career Readiness
    • Job Exploration
    • Self-Advocacy
    • Independent Living Skills
