Courageous Kids Climbing

Attention! Parents and caregivers of children who may need accessible accommodations to climb a rock wall... Children with special needs will get the chance to challenge their limits and grow their abilities during a free rock climbing event at the University of Idaho Climbing Center on April 22, 2018.

A FREE climbing opportunity for 20 children with special needs will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 22, inside UI’s Campus Recreation Center. Children with all types of physical disabilities, special needs, or learning challenges are invited to participate. Trained student volunteers will be on site to assist participants.

Courageous Kids Climbing provides 20 children with the opportunity to spend the day climbing at the University of Idaho Climbing Center. Assistive techology will be provided. This is an inclusive event, and we will do everything to ensure each child has a SAFE and fun time!

Space is limited and registration is REQUIRED by Friday April 20th.

The event is coordinated by the University of Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD) and Courageous Kids Climbing, based in McCall, Idaho. Courageous Kids has been organizing free climbing events for children with special needs since 2014.
