Walk and Roll Disability Awareness Event

Register now for the inclusive Walk and Roll event on Saturday, April 16, 2016 held at the City Playfields in Pullman, WA (820 SE South St.). The Walk and Roll is open for anyone in the community to participate!

Why: Awareness -- Networking -- Fundraising

How: Go to First Giving website and register! Registration will be $12/person. When you register, you will be asked to select a Team. You can then collect donations to support that Team. You must register before April 1 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Day of the Event: The Walk and Roll will start at 3:00 PM and be on the paved jogging trail that goes around the playfields. It is 0.5 miles long for one lap. After the Walk and Roll, t-shirts will be distributed. There will be snacks, music, cheerleaders, and vendor booths for people to enjoy.

Awareness: Inclusive Walk and Roll for everyone in the community to participate.

Networking: Local nonprofits, working with individuals with disabilities, will have a chance to meet and talk about their organizations. There will be an opportunity for each Team to have a vendor booth/table at the event to advertise their upcoming events and spread information about their organization and what they do!

Fundraising: Families Together will organize an online fundraising campaign through First Giving. After registering, anyone can collect donations for their "Team." Sponsors will be needed to cover expenses. Teams can collect both donations and sponsors' monies.
