Consider serving on the Community Advisory Committee for CDHD.

Join the Community Advisory Committee!

Want to make a difference? Serve on the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for the Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD) – Idaho's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.

We are looking for motivated people who want to work toward improving the lives of Idahoans with disabilities.

If you are a person with a developmental or other disability, a family member or guardian of a person with a disability, then please join our team!

The CAC is comprised of Idahoans with disabilities, family members, and professionals. The CAC guides CDHD leaders by providing insight into the opportunities and challenges facing people with disabilities and their families on national, state, and local levels.

The role of the CAC is to:

  • Collaborate in the development of the CDHD five year plan;
  • Provide on-going feedback related to activities associated with the goals and objectives;
  • Assist in the development of the mission and vision of the Center;
  • Provide input into the design of courses, interdisciplinary activities, and products;
  • Review outcome data and provide suggestion for change across all activities.
