artAbility 2022-23
artAbility 2023 was another fun year of artistic expression for all involved. Workshops were again held in-person, with Areli Morfin leading the charge. It was her final year as Project Coordinator. Six workshops were held over the course of the academic year, focusing on everything from spin-off art to music in culture. They also saw leadership provided by local artists such as Lorie Higgins, Elizabeth Sloan and Dr Lori Conlon Khan.
As always, the year was capped off with the artAbility Showcase. It was again held in-person with a digital showcase available for those who were not able to attend. This year's event even featured a musical performance by artAbility participants, led by Lionel Hampton School of Music students.
We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Stepping Stones, Inc. for funding this year's project, and Inland Northwest Broadcasting for support in promoting the showcase. We would also like to thank the Lionel Hampton School of Music as well as CDHD staff, trainees and student helpers who provided their time and support for the project. artAbility thrives because of you!
