Frequently Asked Questions How much does the Community Based Supports training cost? The training costs $10.00 per student. You may pay by credit card or check. Those paying by credit card will have their registrations processed within the stated 1-4 business days. Those paying by check will have their registrations held until their payment is received. Where do I pay with a Credit Card Payments are accepted through the University of Idaho Marketplace. How do I access the course? You must first register through the University of Idaho Marketplace. The student will receive his/her username and password with instructions on how to access the course via email within 1-4 business days. Beginning August 1, 2016 registration for new Community Based Supports students submitted on Monday or Friday by 12:00pm (noon) MDT will be processed by 5:00pm MDT that same day. Registration forms that are submitted on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday will be processed by 5:00 pm MDT on Friday. Registrations submitted on Saturday and Sunday will be processed by 5:00 pm MDT on Monday. What if I don't get the email with login instructions? If you have registered through the University of Idaho Marketplace and do not receive an email with login instructions in 2-4 days the first step is to check your spam folder. The login email is often sent there, especially if you use Yahoo email. The email will have a Subject Line with your name followed by "Community Based Supports Training." If you have checked your spam folder and don't see the email, you can contact the person that registered you for the class. They are sent a copy of your login instructions. If you registered yourself and can't find the email, please contact us at Idaho CDHD and we will look into the matter. How long do I have to complete the Community Based Supports training? You will have one month to complete the training. If you need further access to your account after one month, you must register and pay for the training again (please CHECK the BOX "Current HS Student"). We will open your account for another 30 days. Please email Idaho CDHD if you have further questions about this. What score do I need to pass a quiz? Minimum passing score is considered to be 80%. You must score a minimum of 80% for each of the three quizzes before your Certificate of Completion will be available to print. Can I take a quiz more than once? Yes! You can take the quizzes as many times as you want to. How long is the Community Based Supports training? The training consists of a "Course Information" module which will provide information and instructions on how to navigate the course as well as four (4) content modules. The entire training will take approximately 3-4 hours to complete. It is recommended that you break the training up over time rather than taking it in one session. Will I receive a certificate when I've completed the Community Based Supports training? Yes, a certificate is issued for this training. You will be required to pass all three quizzes with a minimum score of 80% on each of the three quizzes. You will also be required to answer the three Reflective Questions. The Certificate of Completion will be available to you once these conditions are met. You can print the Certificate of Completion to provide to your supervisor. This will go into your employee file. It is strongly recommended that you keep copies for yourself as well. We are only able to reprint your certificate if you enrolled in the course after January 1, 2017. What if I've completed the Community Based Supports training and need a new certificate? We are able to print a new Certificate of Completion to provide to your supervisor if you have lost your original AND enrolled in the course AFTER January 1, 2017. We are no longer keeping records prior to that date. If you took the course previous to that date and have lost your Certificate of Completion, you will be required to pay to enroll in the course again. What if I have more questions?
