May 2, 2024 By Idaho CDHD Front and Center: spring 2024 edition is out! Spring is … springing? While we may still be waiting for the warmer weather to kick in, the spring edition of Front and Center is right on time! Covering our February to April 2024 quarter, this edition is packed with some big highlights. This includes the 10-year anniversary of the artAbility project! We held our 10th annual Showcase and launched our Digital Showcase at the end of April. Find out more about how we made this milestone year extra special. Tools for Life 2024 also took place, with attendees in southeastern Idaho treated to a full schedule of breakout sessions, resources and activities. According to the stats, the conference was a success! Find out more in the 2024 Event Report. As if Tools for Life wasn’t big enough, the Idaho Assistive Technology Project also opened another AT Resource Center! Located in Twin Falls, this center will make it a little bit easier for Idahoans to get the assistive technology they need to live more independent lives. Other highlights include the IdahoSTARS workforce report and recognition for members of the CDHD team. This includes awards for research efforts by our leadership team and one of our trainees. Plus, Jen Magelky-Seiler will be representing the CDHD (and Idaho) at the AUCD Leadership Academy this year.
