Idaho CDHD Front and Center summer 2026

Idaho CDHD Front and Center summer 2026 edition

Front and Center summer 2026 is here!

Great news! Our summer 2026 edition of the CDHD Front and Center newsletter is out now. Catch up on everything we’ve been up to over the last quarter.

This edition is packed full of highlights, including the recent $14.6 million grant for IdahoSTARS. This funding will help the project continue to ensure quality child care in Idaho. It will see the project maintain current responsibilities as well as take on a few new objectives. Read all about it.

A couple of our projects have been busy bringing the summertime fun! Catch-up on NatureFit Adventure’s recent fishing trip to Spring Valley Reservoir and the Idaho Assistive Technology Project’s collaboration on AAC Camp in Boise.

The end of the academic semester wrapped up a few training cycles, including the IdahoSTARS Infant Toddler cohort. This peer-learning training concluded in May, helping child care professionals level up their skills and work toward CDA certification. The project also saw four of their Emerging Leaders Scholarship recipients complete their postgraduate study. Find out how this scholarship program helps Idaho students pursue their academic and professional goals in early education.

Let’s not forget our CDHD student trainees! Four trainees completed their research and presented at the OUR Research Symposium, while four more graduated from the University of Idaho!

Along with our news highlights, we have a full schedule of events and training coming up over August, September and October. Read the Front and Center summer 2026 edition to get all the details.
