ICIE IPP Conference 2026

Registration open for ICIE's IPP Conference

Registration open for ICIE's IPP Conference

The Idaho Competitive Integrated Employment (ICIE) Center is again hosting the Idaho Pathways to Partnerships (IPP) Conference and registration is open!

This yearly conference focuses on improving transition opportunities for students with disabilities who are planning for life after high school. It brings together school districts, charter teams, and state and regional teams in a collaborative environment. The goal? To create a shared vision for helping students find competitive integrated employment (CIE) opportunities once they finish school.

All school district and charter teams are encouraged to register, including teachers (special and general education), support staff, principals, counselors, special education directors, consulting teachers, paraprofessionals, youth with disabilities and their parents, and any professional who works with children and youth with disabilities.

This year’s event will see some slight changes to further improve the experience while highlighting regional voices across the state. The four-phase framework combines in-person and virtual events that allow more teams to participate without the need for extensive travel.

Phase 1 kicks off on September 23 with a virtual meet-up. This is followed by three Phase 2 in-person events held in North, Southwest and Southeast Idaho. Phase 3 is a one-day virtual conference, which is followed by three virtual check-in sessions (Phase 4) scheduled throughout the year to provide support.

Participants can still expect collaborative planning, a focused keynote, and breakout sessions geared toward creating action plans that build on district strengths, address local needs, and improve outcomes for students. District and charter teams will have the opportunity to review data, set priorities and create actionable goals. Overall, participants gain new tools, stronger partnerships and practical strategies they can put into place that help drive better CIE opportunities in their schools and communities.

Registration is open now and will close on September 22, 2026. You can view the full schedule and sign up through the ICIE website.

IPP is sponsored by the Idaho State Department of Education, ICIE and Idaho Vocational Rehabilitation.
