August 15, 2024 By CDHD We'll be at Palousafest 2024! Another semester is just days away and it’s hard to ignore the excitement of returning and new students buzzing about town. Part of settling into the 2024 school year is kicking it off in style. The Palousafest is returning and we’ll be there to welcome all the new students! Come see us at our table this Saturday, August 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. For those who are not familiar, Palousafest is the premier welcome-back event on campus. Each year 3000-plus students and community members attend this event. There will be food. There will be entertainment. And there will be nearly 200 student organizations, campus departments, local businesses and non-profits ready to welcome you to the University of Idaho (U of I). Tables will be set up along Sixth Street and the surrounding areas of the Moscow U of I campus, and we’ll be among them. Stop by to say hello. Our friendly staff and current student trainees can fill you in on who we are and how we help Idaho’s disability community. Even better, you can also learn about our student trainee program. We recruit students from all academic backgrounds to come to the Center and help us out. It’s a great way to grow your personal experience, boost your resume and get paid! If that’s not enough to persuade you to drop by, we’ll also be handing out some pretty cool swag. Our table will be located at the end of the pathway between the Agricultural Biotechnology Building and the College of Natural Resources Buildling. We hope to see you there!
