ITC spring enrollment opens January 11

Did you know that Idaho Training Clearinghouse (ITC) offers inservice courses? These are courses for credit specifically targeted toward K-12 educators looking for knowledge and professional development opportunities.

Even better, the spring session is coming up – enrollment opens on January 11.

About inservice courses

Choose from 17 courses that cover a variety of special education topics. This includes everything from Augmentative and Alternative Communication to Using Systematic Instruction to Improve Outcomes for Students with Severe Disabilities.

Each course is credit bearing, with credit offered through the University of Idaho. Some also offer a free non-credit option, which includes a certificate of completion.

For a full list of available courses, check out the ITC website. You’ll also find course requirements, syllabuses, and more information on how to sign up.

Enrollment for the spring session closes on March 14.

If you have any questions, or you’d like more information about spring courses, please contact ITC directly by calling 208 885 6000 or emailing ITC@uidaho.edu.

About ITC

ITC connects all Idaho educators and parents with hundreds of resources through an online resource library. Users can access webinars, face-to-face training, digital information resources, and inservice courses for credit that cover a range of topics.

The extensive resource library contains more than 500 resources, all of which can be accessed online. You can browse by topic or role, and you can search by keywords. The site also offers a calendar with a comprehensive list of upcoming webinars and trainings by date. And if you need help at any point in your search, you can contact the ITC for assistance.

The Project is housed at the Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development. It’s funded by the Idaho State Department of Education-Special Education.
