Disability Etiquette Training: September 5, 2023

artAbility is gearing up to start its 10th year of promoting artistic expression in the local Moscow community! This year, as those past, will kick off with Disability Etiquette Training.

Join us on September 5 from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Whitewater Room at the ISUB.

This hour-long training session will feature information about disability etiquette, People First Language and how to naturally support individuals with disabilities. Hear from a self-advocate, meet new friends and network with CDHD staff.

Attendees also have the opportunity to get involved with the community through artAbility workshops and events.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Oh! And refreshments will be provided.

This event will kick off a full semester of artAbility workshops where adults with disabilities are encouraged to express themselves through different artistic mediums. Workshops are led by local artists with the help of CDHD student trainees and University of Idaho student supports.
