17 things we're grateful for in 2025

It’s hard to believe that another year is nearing its end. As we take stock of everything the last 11 months have brought, there’s certainly a lot to be thankful for.

We’re happy that we were able to catch up with many of our former CDHD student trainees. We’re even happier that Grace Vitek, Ernesto Marquez Montes, Suzanna Winter and Morgan Flynn are finding success in their respective careers.

We loved seeing the positive impact the CDHD has had on families through our community-based programs like artAbility and Healthy Active Lifestyles

We’re proud that we are able to continually expand our services. With new programs like Expanding Horizons and Vandal HARVEST, we continue in our mission to ensure that all people can live, learn, work and play in their communities.

Most of all, we’re grateful for all the incredible work we've accomplished this year. From child care state licensing transitions to assistive technology consultations that change lives, our staff continue to build connections, achieve goals and provide stellar services to Idahoans across the state.

But this is only a small slice of the gratitude abounding around the CDHD these days. We asked our staff what they’re grateful for in 2025, and as usual, they reminded us what an incredible team we have here at the Center …
