What to expect

Movement in the Park is part of our Healthy Active Lifestyles project. It’s a series of adaptive movement exercise classes that emphasize getting your body moving in a fun and inclusive environment.

Each class is 30 minutes long and is instructed by one or more CDHD trainee instructors. As a participant, you can expect to complete different forms of exercise. This can range from dancing to active games to different movements that focus on specific muscle groups. No matter how you’re moving, adaptive alternatives are available to make each class suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.

Our instructors work hard to make sure each class offers healthy movement and a good dose of fun!
