Introducing the ICYDB podcast series

The Idaho Project for Children and Youth with Deaf Blindness has released a new podcast series. The goal of this project is to provide training and consultation to service providers and families of children and young adults who have combined vision and hearing loss.

The series features compelling discussions with some of the best-known experts in the field of deaf-blindness. It’s hosted by Dr Robin Greenfield, who interviews a different expert in each episode. With three episodes already released, Dr Greenfield has conversed with such notable names as David Brown, Maurice Belote and Tanni Anthony.

Listeners are treated to conversations ranging from 30 to 45 minutes in which experts discuss their history in the field of deaf-blindness while sharing the experiences, training and knowledge they have accumulated through the years.

“This series is really fun to listen to as well as a treasure trove of information from some of the most talented people in the field of severe disabilities and deaf-blindness,” said Dr Greenfield.

The first three episodes are live now with new episodes coming in October and December.
