What to expect Movement in the Park is part of our Healthy Active Lifestyle project. It’s a free adaptive movement class that provides inclusive opportunities for people of all abilities to get moving in a supportive environment. Each class runs for about 30 minutes, with a range of activities and exercises. This includes everything from dancing and active games to specific exercise movements – all of which focus on four areas of the body: arms, legs, core and cardio. Adaptive alternative movements are also offered for each exercise/activity to ensure everyone is able to comfortably participate. These classes are led by one or more of our CDHD student trainees, who work hard to ensure each session brings lots of movement and even more fun!
