May 26, 2022 By CDHD BSU PREP Academy offers two summer sessions The BSU Postsecondary Rewarding Education is Possible (PREP) Academy will offer two summer sessions this year: Session 1: June 19-24 Session 2: June 28-July 1 PREP is for Idaho students with disabilities who are thinking about attending college after high school. It provides the opportunity to experience college life over five days on the BSU main campus. Students will spend a week on-campus, engaging in academic and recreational activities. Courses focus on career readiness and self-advocacy. Students will learn how to take notes, access the Educational Access Center, and learn more about financial aid and financial literacy. They will also be introduced to STEM careers and majors. For a well-rounded introduction to life on-campus, there will be plenty of fun activities as well. This includes a campus tour complete with a visit to the famous BSU Blue Turf. If you’re interested in attending, you can contact your VR Counsellor to sign up.
