January 4, 2024 By Idaho CDHD ITC spring enrollment opens January 10 Welcome to 2024! What are your New Year resolutions? If professional development happens to be on your to-do list in 2024, the Idaho Training Clearinghouse (ITC) may just have you covered. Enrollment for the spring 2024 semester of inservice courses is opening on January 10. These are courses for credit specifically targeting K-12 educators who are seeking professional development opportunities. These inservice courses cover a range of special education topics, including: Augmentative and Alternative Communication Co-Teaching and Collaborating in Inclusive Schools Early Childhood Outcomes Multi-Sensory Approach to Literacy. All up, there are 16 courses to choose from. As mentioned, each one is credit bearing, with credit offered through the University of Idaho. Some also offer a non-credit option free of charge, which includes a certificate of completion. Remember, enrollment for the spring semester opens on January 10 and closes on March 8. About ITC The ITC is a project housed at the Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development. It's funded by the Idaho State Department of Education – Special Education.
