February 5, 2026 By CDHD Front and Center: winter 2025-26 is out! Our latest edition of Front and Center is out, sending out all the latest news and information from the CDHD and our projects. In this winter edition, we wrapped up another year with much meaningful planning to set up for success in the spring. That’s not to say that we didn’t have plenty of positive and exciting news! In fact, our IdahoSTARS team shined at the Northwest Early Learning and Pyramid Summit in November. The conference was hosted in Boise this year, and we had five staff members present four informative sessions to participants of this two-day event. Idaho SESTA’s own Natalie Kincaid even received a conference shout-out for her role in bringing the event to life in the City of Trees. Our Healthy Active Lifestyles project also finished 2025 on a high note, with a grant to help fund another semester of Healthy Cooking Classes. We will kick things off in March, with a collaboration with Eat Smart Idaho. Stay tuned for more details on that. Vandal HARVEST kicked off – a new project that brings together the Center, University of Idaho and ECLIPSE in a collaboration to develop hydroponic gardening and competitive integrated employment. This winter has seen plenty of development, and we can’t wait for everything to officially kick-off. We caught up with another one of our past student trainees to see what they’re up to. Suzanna Winter shed a little light on how her time at the Center prepared her for her role as a Youth Support Partner. But, more than that, it had lasting impacts beyond her professional life. Looking forward, our calendar of events for February, March and April is chalk full of events and training. Highlights include SESTA/ITC’s Hear We Go webinar series, the 2026 artAbility showcase, and registration for the summer semester of ITC For Credit courses.
